Orchard Community Learning Center & the Roosevelt School District Culinary & Wellness Center

The Orchard Community Learning Center is located at 911 W Baseline Road, a hub for hands on learning connecting people and food in a rustic setting with one of most innovated approaches to growing food and feed our minds for the positive changes we need to make for healthier and happier future.

The property will have two aquaponics systems which currently, the home model serves as a tool for teaching and research. The second system is currently underdevelopment and will convert an old swimming pool in to an aqua garden producing produce that grows faster with a higher nutrient value using less resources. A solution for many changes with feed and growing.

The Roosevelt School Districts Culinary & Wellness Center supports and compliments these same changes with not only connecting the missing links with people and food but takes it one step further with putting people and food in a kitchen. A fantastic facility and the first of it's kind in Arizona, this center will also afford that community to serve higher quality food to their over 11,000 students and saving over $250,000 a year. With a solid base for change, this center fully embraces the challenges surrounding school food service and takes them head on.
